Christmas is going to be small this year, what with Jolene being out of work for 10 weeks and me having to pay my medical debt. I'm still looking forward to it, of course. I haven't done any shopping yet, but I have ideas. I'm bummed though, 'cause the day after Christmas is a work day for me. That's super lame. I mean come on. It's a Friday. After Christmas. Throw me a frickin' bone! The thing that makes it even worse is this: I am the only person from my team that will be working. I'm hoping I can arrange to work from home for that day. *crosses fin-gers*
What else...I baked too many potatoes last night. I made three medium sized ones. Yeah. That's too much. I had a tummy ache the rest of the night! You would think I could stop eating after two and being full, but oh no. I don't waste taters, precious.
We have a Book Club meeting today at work. There aren't many of us, but it's quite fun. I should really be reading my LOMA books instead as I have two tests the beginning of next month, but I love to procrastinate. Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow, right?
