Did I mention I'm excited to go camping? I totally am.

Camping!

We're going camping next weekend for Porter's bachelor party. I was really looking forward to shooting but it looks like the range is going to be closed. I am bummed. It will still be fun, just not as much fun. My gear arrived yesterday so now I have my self inflating pad and sleeping bag! The sleeping bag is a bit scratchy so I'm going to wash it and see if that helps.

Star Trek is awesome. That is all.

Okey

I have a new obsession. It's a Turkish game called Okey. It's like Gin Rummy only with tiles and weird rules about wild cards.

Yeah.

The only problem is the site is completely in Turkish. I had Adrian set up an account for me and I can navigate to the game, but I don't know what people are saying in the chat window. I tried using a translator but the MFers don't spell things correctly. GAH! I said I was American once and they laughed and said some things I didn't understand. My mission now is to learn Turkish so I know what they're saying.

I know that's crazy.

I'm excited to go camping/shooting on Memorial weekend for Porter's bachelor party. Should be a good time. I spent entirely too much time this afternoon looking at self inflating camp pads and sleeping bags. :D I hope the June bugs aren't too prevalent. I also hope I get to see another flying squirrel. I know no one believes me, but man that thing was cool. It looked like this:

I've become even more of a Facebook addict these last two weeks. I've been playing Mafia Wars, which is ridiculous, really, but quite fun. My Scrabble addiction has slowed somewhat as no one will play against me more than a few times. :( This makes me a sad Panda.

Jo, Kristen and I went and painted pottery today. I broke the cycle after three banks and painted a plate today. It's a plate for deviled eggs, right? The creepy/cute thing is each hollowed out egg spot has a chick painted in it. HA! It's too morbid for me not to love it.

I can't seem to stop eating string cheese. I miss the smoked stuff I used to find up in MN. I bet there's a way to order some on the internets. Hmm. I've been jonsing for a trip up North lately in general. I'd love to see everybody! Well, not everybody, but most people. :)

I wrote this long post about how good Sam is doing, what movies I need to watch and how excited I am about Jeremy coming for a visit from Japan but fscking firefox ate it. I can't be arsed to write it all again.

It's been a long few weeks. There's too much to say so I'll sum it up by saying that Sam scared the hell out of us but now he's doing wonderful.

Work has been work. Busy and busy.

We had a fun party for Paul's b-day. He managed to not wet himself. :D

I'm looking forward to the weekend even though it's only Tuesday. It's going to be along week, methinks.
